Pulmonologist Rachael Idowu, MD, earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed an Internal medicine residency at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she served as Chief Resident. She was a fellow in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, New York.

Dr. Idowu is a member of the physician team at Jefferson Regional Pulmonology Associates and the Jefferson Regional Medical Staff. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians.

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Idowu enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures and landscapes. She has a true passion for music and plays both drums and bass guitar. She chooses to work in Southeast Arkansas because of the region’s high prevalence of respiratory diseases. She is committed to making a positive impact by providing specialized care and promoting healthy living practices within the community. She believes in the importance of accessible healthcare and strives to empower her patients to lead healthier lives through education and compassionate medical care.
