Reid Pierce, MD, FACOG

Reid G. Pierce, MD, earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1982 and completed his residency specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Virginia. He returned to Arkansas to join his father and brother in the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1986. He soon became active in medical staff leadership and in 2015, he became the first Chief Medical Officer for Jefferson Regional. The CMO role involves administrative activities as well as clinical ones. Dr. Pierce sees gynecology patients in his office at Jefferson Regional OB/GYN Associates. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

He is the proud father of five children who are now grown and living around the world, which gives him and his wife, Barbie, good reasons to travel. He has enjoyed many activities including golf, horseback riding, yoga, and motorcycling.

After more than 40 years of marriage, Dr. Pierce and Barbie also enjoy their dogs and the company of friends and family.
