Dr. Fakouri was a raised in Monticello, Arkansas and graduated from Monticello High School. He went to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and then to University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, where he earned his Medical Doctorate. He trained in Texarkana, Arkansas in Family Medicine and returned home to Monticello where he has been for over 10 years.
He is a member of the Monticello School Board and an active supporter of Boll Weevil Football. When Dr. Fakouri is not working or volunteering as the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s team doctor, he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the great outdoors by hunting or fishing.
