PUBLIC NOTICE OF UPCOMING ACCREDITATION REVIEW VISIT BY THE ACEN

The Jefferson Regional School of Nursing wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for initial accreditation of its Associates of Applied Science nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at 1p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 in the JRSON Administrative Conference Room, 2nd floor of the Jefferson Regional School of Nursing located at 4747 Dusty Lake Drive.

Written comments are also welcome and should be submitted to the ACEN via email at public-comments@acenursing.org or to the ACEN office:

PUBLIC NOTICE OF UPCOMING ACCREDITATION REVIEW VISIT BY THE ACEN

 

To request a transcript, a written request must be emailed to Michelle Newton, newtonm@jrmc.org. Transcripts cannot be requested over the telephone, without written consent via email or in person.

There is a fee of $6.00 for all official and unofficial transcripts. Jefferson Regional does not send official transcripts via email. This is to be paid at the Cashier’s office at Jefferson Regional and can be paid for in person or over the phone at 870-541-7984.

Please allow 5 to 7 business days for all transcripts to be processed and sent to the requested address.

Program Disclosure:
The program offered by the Jefferson Regional School of Nursing is approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. Upon graduation, the student is qualified to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) to become a registered nurse. Once an individual is licensed in Arkansas, many states will grant them a compact license. Students interested in obtaining a registered nursing license in another state should check with the applicable licensing authority in that state.
