Nephrologist Sheheryar Shah, MD, earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City where he received the Stewart Wolf Outstanding Resident in Medicine Award. Most recently, Dr. Shah completed a fellowship in Nephrology at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Shah is board certified in Internal Medicine and serves as a member of the physician team at Jefferson Regional Nephrology Associates and the Jefferson Regional medical staff. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology.
When he isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Shah enjoys biking and reading classical literature and history. He also spends time exploring and listening to music of different genres and cultures. Dr. Shah chose to practice medicine in Southeast Arkansas after falling in love with the diverse natural beauty of this region and it’s culturally enriched community.
