ALL VISITORS MUST: 1) Check in at front desk 2) Have their picture made for visitor’s pass 3) Specify what area of hospital they need to visit
During your visit we ask that you remember that patients are here for the treatment of illness or injury and need their rest. No children under 12 are allowed above the first floor, except on 2NW where sibling visits are allowed. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Patients are allowed to receive three (3) visitors at a time. Visitors must wear proper attire at all times, i.e., shirt and shoes. It is asked that visitors limit their visits to thirty (30) minutes to allow adequate time for rest and treatment of the patient. Persons with elevated temperatures, colds, flu, and/or other infectious or contagious diseases are requested not to visit until free of symptoms. Overnight visiting may occur only with the prior approval of the Clinical Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse for the patient care unit. Policies for overnight visiting will be explained by the Clinical Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.

- 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM – Only two visitors allowed at bedside at one time
Shift Change
- 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM – Only one visitor allowed at bedside at one time
Quiet Time
- 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM – Only one visitor allowed at bedside

Smoking Policy
Effective 10/1/05, Arkansas Act 134 banned smoking on all hospital property. The prohibition against smoking inside Jefferson Regional buildings and on Jefferson Regional property applies to everyone. There are two designated smoking areas that are covered and provide seating: one is located on Hickory between 40th and 42nd; the other is located on Mulberry Street across from the Emergency Room.
Calling a Patient
If you are outside the hospital, you may call a patient room directly by dialing 541 followed by the room number. These calling instructions do not apply to phone numbers in the Clinical Decision Unit or ICU. If you do not know the room number, the hospital operator is available to connect patient calls between 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Patients are not able to receive calls after 9:00 p.m.

Dining Facilities
For your convenience, the JRMC cafeteria is located on the Main Hallway of the First Floor.
Cafeteria Hours:
- Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. daily
- Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. daily
- Dinner: 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. daily
- Night: 11:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday)

Vending machines are located on the Main Hallway of the First Floor and available 24 hours.
Parking & Visitor Entrance
Visitor parking is located in the parking garage off of 40th Avenue. Main entrance to the hospital is also off of 40th Avenue.
Wireless Internet Access
Wi-Fi is available to patients and visitors through the “JRMC-GUEST” network. There is no password but terms and conditions must be accepted before access is granted.
